YOH-GÜRT FROZ

Compared to past generations, today’s generation is more health conscious than ever. Potato chips with no trans fat are already offered, softdrinks are already available with zero calories, and now, iced desserts can be had as healthy treats.

Classic Fro-Yo

Thanks in large part to YOH-GÜRT FROZ! The branch which Brian and I visited is located in Greenhills Promenade, a small stall just inside HOBBES & LANDES. It sells its ultimate creation of frozen yogurt treats – classic FRO-YO – in regular and large sizes. You can also choose to add up to three toppings of your choice. I ordered the regular size with strawberry, almonds and banana while Brian ordered the large size with apple cinnamon, almonds and brownies.

The presentation was appetizing but for me, it didn’t look exactly like the one on the poster. I was surprised that the taste was very much like vanilla ice cream! Imagine eating vanilla ice cream but 98% fat free and no cholesterol! Guiltless! I love the creamy texture and flavor of the yogurt. I think you can have it plain and still it would taste good. The only downside of the fro-yo for me is that it’s quite expensive; nevertheless, it was a great guilt-free yogurt experience especially for dessert-lovers out there.

The main branch is located in Thompson’s Square along Tomas Morato cor. Roces Avenue Q.C, where they feature “MIX IT” yogurt treats which allows you to indulge in yogurt blended with fruits of your choice. Other frozen yogurt brand are Red Mango and White Hat, which are also available around Metro Manila.

wow, great food option for people who needs diet like me…. fat free… but an expensive price negates the earlier notion…

    anyways, economics explains them all…

… if it’s not fat free… then manufacturers would have to add sugar… which would add to their costs… as against the case of fat free… but then again… maybe it’s spent on research….

    it’s all about time, i think…

one day, if many people are obese, then fat free products would be a lot cheaper….

    ….just a strange guess ^_^

I like their cheesecake topping better than White Hat’s. I found White Hat’s cheesecake too lemony. :)
