HERMANOS, a Spanish-Filipino inspired restaurant situated in the Ortigas Home Depot Complex is a great place to unwind, enjoy the great food and have a glass of wine, while enjoying to your favorite Eraserheads soundtrack, after a long week of work or acads.
“It’s a cool evening in the 1860’s. Manila is in a calm but frenzied rush as the Christmas season beckons. Amidst the flamenco music being played by guitaristas, chatter and laughter from frailes, officials and those who’s who in Spanish-controlled Manila society fills the air of strictly exclusive restaurants filled with pure Kastilas, as they feast on traditional Spanish tapas and wine. Tapas is the name of a wide variety of appetizers in Spanish cuisine.”
Hermanos concentrated on their dishes, making sure that each of them stand out. For me, it’s really enjoyable and worth it that you pair the dishes with their nice crisp wines or your favorite local or international beers. You really won’t regret dining at this deli-bar. Here are some of their noteworthy dishes:
Bola-Bola Paella Dela Guerra (Deep fried breaded paella rice with chili tomato sauce)
Antipasto Bonifacio (Antipasto platter which consists of mushrooms, olives, kesong puti, etc)
Gambas dela Islas (Shrimps sauteed in garlci, chili and olive oil)
Pollo del Apolinario (Marinated chicken fillet in lemon grass paprika) One of my faves!
Calamari del Supremo (Deep fried breaded squid rings with tartar sauce)
Tapang Usa de Katipunan (Smoked deer with pickled radish and wine vinegar)
Calamari del Gobernadorcillo (Dried calamari flakes with chili paprika)

It sounds and looks great. Never seen this type of resto. But how about the price? Is it too expensive for an average type?
Thanks for posting!
