Just recently, Royce chocolates from Japan arrived here in the Philippines with a store of its own in Powerplant Mall in Rockwell.
Instead of going to Hong Kong, Singapore or Japan to have your fix of the very delicious Nama (melt-in-your-mouth chocolates), and the Chocolate Potato Chips, you can just simply go to Rockwell – or the Kobini Store in Greenhills – for it. There are lots of chocolate variants to choose from and I’m sure they all taste good.
It’s advisable to call the store, pre-order your chocolates, and just pick it up after. You never know what’s available or not because of the influx of chocolate buyers and passers-by grabbing a box after they taste samples of the chocolates.

I bought lots of white chocolate during my last trip to Bangkok. I’ve seen the price list somewhere and it seems to be very comparable to prices abroad.

Tippi brought home a box the other night. Really good chocolates (cool, melts-in-your-mouth goodness) though for P580 pesos, the serving’s way too small. I mean, 30+ pesos for a .5in x 1in piece of chocolate? Nooo effing way.
Trader Joe’s truffles taste exactly the same but they come in a HUGE box which costs around $10-$13, I think. But of course I have to ask someone to ship it over here pa. hehe!

Masarap ang caocao chocolates nila! But nakakainsulto ang tindero nila na maliit na lalaki.
Nagtanong kami. Tapus sinabi ng misis ko na babalig kami pagkatapus manuot ng sine. Ang ginawa ng maliit na tindero ng royce’ rockwell nagbulong sa tabi niyang kasama at pinagtawanan kami. I question them ano binubulong mo dyan? Tumahimik na lang silang dalawa.
Di ba nakakainsulto ang ginawa nila?
